Tree of Life a 400 years old mystique tree that stands alone in the desert, surviving in a place completely void of water.Al Fateh Grand Mosque being one of the largest Mosque in the world, accommodating up-to 7000 worshippers. During your visit you will admire the impressively domed structure, built in early 1990s and named after Ahmed Al Fateh, the conqueror of Bahrain. Its dome is made of pure fiberglass. Bahrain National Museum boasts a rich collection of Bahrain’s ancient archaeological artifacts. 08:00 visit the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the largest mosque in Oman, and one of the most popular places to visit in Muscat. Accommodating up to a stupendous 20,000 worshippers at a time, the structure features a blend of various architectural styles, which is highlighted by its beautiful décor and the spectacular crystal chandeliers and handmade Persian rugs here, which are some of the largest in the world.
Notes:Grand Mosque is open from Saturday to Thursday from 0800 – 1100 hrs. only (last entry at 10:30 hrs). Ladies visiting the mosque are required to cover their head with scarf and do not wear shorts, beachwear or sleeveless outfits as they are to be fully covered. Also need to be covered from head to toe. Men are also to be full covered, though short sleeve shirts are allowed for men. Slip on shoes recommended as one has to remove to enter the mosque.
Visit Bait Al Zubair Museum (except Friday) is a brief introduction that traces Oman’s history and development. Drive along the waterfront Corniche visiting the Fish Market & the colorfulMuttrah Souq. We proceed for a photo stop at the magnificent Al Alam Palace, the official palace of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos flanked by the 16thcentury Portuguese forts Mirani & Jalali. The dress code for the Mosque-Ladies is to be fully covered and to carry a long head scarf and men in full-length trousers.

Breakfast at hotel, Duration 08 hrs.,0800 hrs. We depart by 4WD vehicles to the Wahiba Sands via the scenic and rugged coastal route. This tour offers breathtaking glimpses of the blue waters of the Gulf of Oman offset by pristine white beaches. We drive past the fishing village of Quriyat. There is a good chance of spotting Flamingos and Eagles at an inland stream. Visit the picturesque Wadi Arabayeen with its deep pools of water set among the date palms. We then proceed to the Bimmah sinkhole, a spectacular limestone crater with blue-green water at the bottom. Enjoy a walk through the lush green date plantations. We proceed to Wadi Al Madeen. From here a 36 km stretch of winding road takes one to Jebel Al Akhdar (2000 m above sea level) the green jewel of the Al Hajjar mountain ranges, a truly unique spot in the Arabian Peninsula. Breakfast at hotel, 14:00 you will embark on a walk through the traditional villages of Jabal Akhdar. The walk will take you through terraced farms and lush green valleys. Offering breathtaking views of the mountains and the surrounding countryside. You will have the opportunity to visit some of the small villages, such as wadi habib and al ain, where you can see the traditional mud house and learn about the daily lives of the locals. the walk will take approximately 3- 4 hrs. and you will have plenty of opportunities to stop and take photos or simply soak in the natural beauty of the area.Rose water is distilled in the homes of the villagers. Check with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention or the World Health

While most smartphones work overseas, you might need to turn on international roaming service

options while travelling abroad.
Many hotels and public places have Wi-Fi and you’ll usually be able to stay connected throughout
your journey, although Internet access may be poor to non-existent in remote destinations. Note
there are restrictions on access to social media sites or what content you can view or send online.
Many websites and smartphone apps allow you to check the forecast and time zones for specific
destinations. We recommend weather.com and timeanddate.com/world clock. Upon arrival, the
time on most smartphones will automatically adjust to the local time.
Carry your prescriptions and over-the-counter medications in their original containers in your
carry-on luggage. Pack a simple first-aid kit along with medicines for motion sickness and mild
upset stomach. As a precaution, use only bottled water and avoid foods from street vendors.
Take care to observe safe health practices when travelling: Wash or sanitize your hands often.
avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth; and cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing. If
you begin to feel unwell at any point in your journey, please inform your guide.
Be sure to bring your own face masks and any other PPE you require during travel; a supply of
masks will be on hand where needed. We also recommend travel-sized hand sanitizer with at
least 60% alcohol, facial tissues and disinfecting wipes or spray.
Guests must wear a mask in accordance with local regulations and service provider
requirements. All protocols are subject to change in accordance with relevant guidelines, local regulations and

Plan on packing light — many Cal India Tours journeys include domestic flights that impose much stricter

The typical attire on Cal India Tours journeys is relaxed and informal during the day. Choose comfortable,
versatile clothing that can be layered to account for changes in the weather throughout the day.
Smart casual is appropriate for evenings. Be sure to bring a global travel adapter set with you to
recharge your electronics at your hotel or aboard ship.

responsible. Use safes where available to secure your valuables, especially passports, money,
jewelry, electronics and medications. Replacing a lost or stolen passport is much easier if you
have a copy on hand. Pack a photocopy of your passport’s personal information page with your
luggage, and keep a photo of it on your smartphone.
